Nonprofit Board Membership 101 Workshop
Join us on Monday, August 29 & Wednesday, August 31, 2022 for the Nonprofit Board Membership 101 workshop,
Serving on a nonprofit board of directors can be personally and professionally rewarding. Most join a nonprofit board in order to advance a charitable mission but may be unaware of the duties and obligations of nonprofit board members. This session will discuss the advantages and challenges of nonprofit board membership. It will cover the fiduciary duties of nonprofit board members and best practices to implement to avoid breaches of these duties. We will also present examples of failures of nonprofit boards and implement role-playing to better understand board dynamics.
