The Cleveland State University Department of Theatre and Dance is pleased to offer a free African Dance master class with Dr. Habib lddrisu (CSU Arts Campus Middough Building, 1901 E. 13 Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44114).

Meet Dr. Habib Iddrisu...
Habib Iddrisu is a traditional trained dancer, musician, and oral historian from Northern Ghana, born into the Bizing family of court historians of the Dagomba people. Dr. Iddrisu has toured the world extensively with traditional singing and dance groups, has diverse experience as a performer, teacher, choreographer and a scholar. One of Dr. Iddrisu's performance and research foundations uses the concept of a “total performance experience.” Thus, the combination of dance, music, theatre and storytelling,
with the intent to educate, probe, teach, learn and to entertain. He is an assistant professor of Dance and Ethnomusicology, and African studies executive committee member at the University of Oregon.
